Between Tides

Kaikōura, 2026

Photographed on 35mm Black & White film.

Wakatu Quay fisheries buildings

Kaikōura, 2020

Photographed on medium format 645 film.

The last of the old fisheries buildings at the Kaikōura wharf.
For over 50 years, this was a working space — boats tying up, cray bins stacked, mussels and fish processed here.

By 2020, it was on the way out.
Not long after, it was gone.
